Our Principal

Capt. B P Hota is the Principal of Banki College Autonomous at present. Before taking over as the Principal of Banki College Autonomous, he was working in KBDAV College, Nirakarpur as the Head of the Department of  Chemistry .

Capt.  Hota has over 33 years of teaching and research experience to his credit. He has his academic and research work at Utkal and Delhi University. He has different research publications and author of three Honours books. He has also worked as Associate Professor in Nayagarh Autonomous College, Godavaris Mahavidyalaya, Banpur, RCM Science College ,Khallikote, Ganjam College ,Ganjam before joining at Nirakarpur. He has also discharged several administrative responsibilities in these different colleges such as Controller of Examination, UGC in charge; Administrative bursar, and head of different Committees, besides member of Board of Studies of different colleges.

Capt. Hota being an Army trained Officer at Officer Training Academy at Nagpur and in the rank of Captain, served 16 years for NCC as Associate NCC Officer at Godavaris Mahavidyalaya, Banpur and Nayagarh Autonomous College, Nayagarh, under 6 Odisha Battalion ,Puri.
